Hall Ranch

It was a great trip; other than the difficulty of riding up through what the guide books call a "rock garden". As with most mountain biking it is a lot of uphill before the fun can begin. Once out of the rock garden the ride got much easier. For the tear drop at the top of the ride we took the right turn and proceeded up the less step section of riding to the top. This was a great choice because on our way down the steeper section you were able to just bomb it. Hardly any breaking at all and the scenery was phenomenal. Then on returning to the rock garden after fixing a few flat tires; we were able to ride through most of it. Though a few areas required a bit of scouting or just walking it was much more fun going down.

Overall: 8/10 top section on the tear drops was one of my favorite parts of any ride anywhere.
