This was an interesting trip to say the least. It was after one of the heaviest snowfall total winters Oregon has ever seen. Our trip was in mid August and we were expecting many people to be at the lake as always. On our drive up we encountered more snow than expected and decided to stop and pull our canoe across the snow the last quarter mile to the campsite we hoped to use. We also help dig out a women and her kids after she had gotten their truck buried in the snow trying to get to the Lake. Once there we had a great time as there was only 2 or 3 other campsite being used out of the dozens around the lake. With our canoe we also enjoyed being the only ones on the water which was awesome. After our usual one night out in the woods it was time to leaving our snowed in campsite and head back to civilization. 9/15-9/16/2008
Likability 8/10 This would be higher if it was snowed in every year, but when no snow is present it is to crowded for my liking.
